Who or what is IRISA?
Irisa is the name of an enterprise specialising in the teaching of the German language.
I am the tutor. My name is
Iris Reichert,
and I live here in
Eisenach.
After my education to be a bilingual secretary, I have worked as a teacher of German in the adult education system for more than 8 years. Over the years I have attended several language schools abroad to update and improve my knowledge of English. I aim to offer you a positive and pleasant learning experience.
So:
- My groups are really small.
- My seminar guests are accompanied by myself during the whole day and they are learning together.
- I am combining theory and practice to enable you to find your way in daily life in Germany.
- In my courses you are also learning more about culture and history of Thuringia, the green heart of Germany.
Do you need a certain level in German to attend the Irisa Learn and
Holiday
Experience?
- The course has been designed for people who want to get to know
Germany
but do not speak German sufficiently.
- I will help you to gain basic knowledge for general communication situations – so you do not need to be well grounded in German.
- Participants with a little previous knowledge or with proper knowledge but lack of practice will definitely make the most progress.
Can your friends and you book as a group?
- Yes, you may attend my seminar together with your friends or family members if the date you wish to come is still available.
How do you get to
Eisenach?

is located almost exactly in the middle of
Germany
and is reachable by ICE trains from every big city in
Germany
at almost every hour.
- So connections to the largest airports in
Germany, for instance Frankfurt/Main, München and
Berlin, are easily accessible.
